Dr. Steve Roberts
An experienced MRI physicist who has developed many veterinary MRI scanners and associated imaging applications. He was instrumental in the development of the world’s first standing equine MRI scanner with over 300,000 horses scanned worldwide to date. He led the team who developed and launched the world’s first zero-helium 1.5T small animal MRI.
Dr. Ami Sawran
Working in the field of farm animal veterinary practice, Ami holds a PhD in dairy cattle mobility and a CertAVP in camelid medicine. She recently published an open access formulary to aid other vets. She is Clinical Director at Westpoint Farm Vets Chelmsford, with a focus on shifting practice culture and introducing wellbeing initiatives in practice. Ami sits on the SPVS board, BVLGBT+ committee, VetPartners Clinical and Farm Executive boards - all aiming to improve practice culture across the farm vet sector.

Created the first platform in the world to make it possible to ask a question about anything to do with your pet and their health and get an answer in seconds from a qualified veterinary professional. VidiVet has been named as one of the UK’s top 10 most exciting early-stage technology scale ups.
Mental health and overall wellness are critical components to the veterinary practice. This person or team puts people first in speciality or general practice with wellness initiatives and care programs for the medical teams.
Dr. Chloe Hannigan
Provides yoga and meditation services to the veterinary profession, and has worked in mixed and small animal practice in the UK, Australia, and NZ. Currently a small animal locum, and loves improving veterinary mental health and wellbeing by bridging the scientific and spiritual realms.
Director, Veterinary Voices UK
The first vet nurse on the Vetlife charity board, an organisation providing mental health support to members of the UK veterinary community and their families who have emotional, health or financial concerns, whilst seeking ways to prevent such situations in the future. She also heads up wellbeing initiatives like the Veterinary Voices Hiking Group, which has so far raised over 10 Thousand Pounds for Vetlife.

Dr. Bolu Eso
A small animal locum veterinarian working predominantly within the South east of England and Greater London area. He uses his veterinary experience to help educate the public on general animal matters on both social media and television.
A clinical director at a clinic and avid volunteer, he is a published author of ‘The Secret Life of a Vet’ and maintains a successful media profile with appearances on Sky news, BBC news, Lorraine, BBC radio, the Telegraph, the Daily Mail and the Metro.
A small animal locum veterinary surgeon in the East Midlands and representative of the British Veterinary Ethnicity and Diversity Society (BVEDS). During the pandemic she began inspiring people of colour to pursue a career in the veterinary field. She is also a member of the Veterinary Woman editorial board.
