To honor the best and brightest veterinary thinkers, innovators and game changers in veterinary medicine, The Bridge Club honored the profession’s Brightest Minds during this week’s WVC Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Bridge Club partnered with Blue Buffalo and the Viticus Group to allow the profession to nominate and vote on those who are elevating veterinary care. More than 2,500 veterinary professionals voted on three categories: Industry Influencer, Practice Game Changer and Wellness Champion. Each award winner receives $1,000, a Bright Mind Award commemorating the event and the opportunity to be recognized at the Western Veterinary Conference.

More than 120 colleagues, friends, and family gathered to celebrate the outstanding achievements and contributions Kara Burns, MS, MEd, LVT, VTS (Nutrition) has made to veterinary medicine. Thank you to the efforts of Blue Buffalo, IDEXX and NAVC, a donation was made in Kara's name to the Every Cat Foundation. Kara now joins a prestigious group of incredible professionals, who will forever be ICONS in our eyes!!!

What a year 2023 has been for The Bridge Club! It has been a remarkable journey as we celebrated our fifth year of dedicated service to elevating veterinary medicine. This past year has been a period of tremendous growth for us. We have invested significant time and effort in building a solid foundation and focusing on our objectives. It is with gratitude that we acknowledge the support of our 42,000 veterinary professionals who have been following our progress and cheering us on. As we look towards the future, we are excited to expand our reach beyond borders, exploring opportunities both across the pond and with our neighbors to the south. As we move into 2024, we will continue to refine our mission, but two things are certain. Firstly, we remain committed to shining a spotlight on the achievements of those who are driving positive change in veterinary medicine, with the hope that others can learn from their success. Secondly, we will persist in presenting challenges and opportunities to the veterinary medicine community, urging them to strive for continuous improvement. We eagerly anticipate the year ahead and the opportunity to connect with all of you in 2024. However, until then, we want you to know how much you mean to us.
